Audrey Pearl

Lest we forget our middle child, here are a few recent pictures of Audrey to share. She is our clown, the child who loves attention! She also loves to play dress-up and play mommy. I put coordinating socks and shoes on her every morning, but she changes them multiple times a day and dresses up with any clothes, hats, glasses she can find. She also mimics everything I do and say with her dolls. "Don't do that, baby! No, no, no!" "It's ok, it's ok, shhhhh, it's ok, baby." "Whattsa matter? Whattsa matter, baby?" Audrey loves to make us laugh by using silly voices or facial expressions, and if we laugh once, it's guarenteed that she'll do the same thing again... only bigger! She loves to sing and always has a tune running through her head and has an amazing memory for the words of songs. She also loves to "help" but usually ends up making more work (by throwing all the dry dishes back into the water, for example). No doubt about it, Audrey is a lot of work (the most work out of the three) -- but she sure adds a lot of spice to our life!

Yes, you described our little Audrey very well. She always makes me smile. I have little lights on my tree in the family room and when she was here Thursday, the lights came on and she said, "Christmas tree. Very cute!" When we said she had to wait to eat until we prayed, she quickly started saying The Lord's Prayer so she could start eating... What an enjoyable little girl full of excitement for life.

Love it Kim, My "middle" (if you can have a middle w/ 4:) is by far the most work right now too. She and Audrey would get along well. She changes her clothes at least 4 times a day. She makes us laugh the most and pull our hair out the most. I think those middles need that personality so we don't forget them:)

Kim, I love keeping up with your sweet family even if I am a horrible at leaving comments! Our Caleb and your Audrey sound so very similar - full of spunk! I'd so love to have you and your three over for a playdate ... it sure would be more exciting than the times Logan and Sam "played" together as babies!
