“Mom, take a picture of me. I’m a fancy queen.”
Last week I took Audrey to a high school production of Annie. It was fun for me to watch because I directed a high school production of Annie 10 years ago (has it really been that long?), and also because I could watch it through Audrey’s eyes. She loved the acting, the singing, the set changes… all of it. As we walked back to the car she asked, “When can I be on stage, Mom?” It was a really special night for the two of us.
