Luau

For Emily’s first birthday party with my side of the family, we held a luau at our house.  We set up a "beach" in our kitchen thinking that it might rain and we’d have to stay indoors, but the weather actually turned out to be really nice and we spent most of the evening outdoors.  The kids even went swimming!

Emily did great the whole time and had lots of fun watching her busy cousins play.  We are so thankful that Emily could celebrate this birthday after such a shaky start.  All in all, it was a fun luau on a beautiful September evening!
