Easter 2014

Spring Break

Yesterday was the first day back to school after spring break for the kids.  It was so nice to have a break from the schedule to enjoy some lazy mornings, some home projects, and fun day trips.

Luke was given 2 club tickets to a Bulls game, so the two of us enjoyed a Monday evening date night while the kids slept at my parents’ house.

We took a morning to go spring shoe shopping for the kids.  It will be sandal season soon, right?

We also drove up to Michigan to see Luke’s extended family and celebrate “Christmas in April” with them. 

Afterward the kids went swimming at our hotel and we had a *Frozen* 5th birthday party for Miss Audrey with the Darling side.

   

It was so nice to have a change from the routine.  Now we’re looking forward to temperatures in the 60s and 70s this weekend to start enjoying some time outside!
