For spring break this year, we explored a few local attractions on Luke’s days off. The highlight of our week was Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. We centered the day around the kids: they requested that we park in the parking garage, so park in the garage we did. We ate at Rainforest CafĂ© where the kids loved watching the automated jungle animals and live tropical fish, and they each were excited to pick a souvenir from the gift shop. We explored the mall via elevators and escalators and ended our time at Yu Island Kids, an indoor, colorful, Japanese-style moving playground! What a great day!

Audrey’s 4th Birthday
We celebrated with a Rainbow Party. She requested rainbow jello cups and a cake with rainbow gumballs on top after seeing both of these as “pins” on pinterest.
Audrey adds so much color to my life. I’m so thankful God has blessed my life with her!

Oops
So I was helping Audrey make some rainbow jello cups (which turned out to be extremely time consuming and time sensitive) for her Rainbow Birthday Party tomorrow, when I glanced over and saw Emily painting her fingernails (and trying to clean up her mess) on our leather ottoman…
Me: “Oh no!!! Emily, what are you doing?!?!?”
Emily: (see below)
